Also, fellow grammarnazis, you’re technically not wrong that it should be “toasts,” but “toast” is okay. Multiple pieces of toast do, indeed, toast multiple pieces of toast, where toasts is not a valid plural form of the word “toast.” Ergo, toast is plural. So, toast toast toast. We can assume toast is plural since it must be parallel to the use of people and guns, both of which are plural.
